Creative Project Manager
You are a rare breed: someone who thinks creatively, moves decisively, and loves nothing more than organizing schedules and deadlines as we dive headfirst into creative pursuits. At Action Mary, we are a rare breed, too. So we are in search of a Project Manager with critical skills in time management, digital and print workflow process, scheduling, trafficking and project management AND who is also compassionate, fun, friendly and flexible. Our ideal Project Manager shines in the office and in front of clients. You will handle day-to-day management of creative and production on multiple print, digital and experiential work, reporting to CRM on major global food client business. This is a varied, exciting client opportunity that spans marketing, creative, event management and PR. You will assess initial requests for information and project scope, then manage workflow, priorities, scheduling and creation of deliverables against established deadlines. You will be our client liaison, representing us in project meetings, gathering necessary information, working with client-side resources, and communicating business objectives and requirements to our creative team. You will hone your management and creative chops, helping us develop and manage budget allocations, partnering with the creative director to manage the creative team, booking and managing freelance talent, negotiating vendor fees, and implementing workback schedules and timelines. Finally, you will manage server organization for all creative and production files: naming standards, file-size/dpi requirements, archiving and processes. Does it sound like a lot? Yes. - Bachelor of Arts degree
- 3-5 years relevant studio/creative services coordination
- In-house or agency traffic experience preferred
- Mac and PC friendly
- Proven ability to work directly with clients (internal and external) to achieve desired outcomes
- Excellent communication skills
- PR skills a plus
- Very approachable and flexible demeanor
- Highly responsive and accountable
- Strong production competencies: client focus, accountability for results, team effectiveness, flexibility and professional confidence required
- Spanish speaking a plus
PR Account Executive
Ready to do great things? Seattle's emerging creative agency, Action Mary, is looking for you. We are in search of part-time and full-time PR and branding professionals to join us as we kick off work for amazing clients in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. You should have at least two-three years of experience in public relations, elevating brands through media relations, content creation and social media. Ideal Action Mary candidates are both fearless and compassionate. You are willing to pick up the phone and make personal contact with media of all levels and types on behalf of our clients. You have the writing chops to create compelling pitches, bylined articles, social media content, marketing collateral, and branding and leadership positioning materials. You are tuned in to the world around you (from politics to social issues to pop culture) and you care about doing the right thing.
